Since the school’s been closed I’ve been joining live lessons, via Everest, so my days have been as near to normal as they can be! I’ve also been able to hand in my work and get feedback from my teachers so my homework is the best it can be. Handing in work is very quick and easy to do.

I am really enjoying using Everest. The daily class attendance is a great electronic way for me to track and monitor attendance whilst the gradebook is saving me tons of paper and time, as I can enter my formative assessments on the spot, from my iPad. This is exactly the tool that I needed.

You can see everything about a student in one place. I put all my subject resources and lesson plans into it so I can share with my classes. It’s great for sharing homework with students and parents.

The homework module has enabled teachers to collect, mark, feedback, and return student work. As many of our teachers were operating in many different countries and time zones, this allowed us to work effectively from where they were located. Despite being away from the school for a number of weeks, we are still able to collate student grades and create reports in order to ensure learning is taking place.

As part of Cayman Prep and High School’s toolset for vigorous delivery of quality e-learning, the school has used Everest to deliver teaching and learning resources to our students, as well as monitor and feedback to them. Everest is set up to link into other e-learning tools such as Microsoft Teams. It has been highly successful and gainfully used across the school to support staff, students and parents. We have been very happy with this platform and the support given by EDU365. A brand that certainly lives up to its name!

Everest is so easy to use and everything I need to keep tabs on my school work is in one place on my phone — I love it!

Truro School has found Everest intuitive to use, was quick and easy to set up and adopted by our staff after a relatively brief training in September 2019. The parent body welcomed the App and pupils quickly adapted to using the homework module and checking to see ‘the work on Everest’. Customer support has been outstanding.
Mark Vanstone, Director of Studies, Truro School
As a parent of twin boys tracking homework and classes was a nightmare. The Everest software has alleviated the stress and constant asking my boys “Do you have any homework?” I find the phone app gives me instant access to these activities in a fast and efficient way. It also allows me to check on attendance, if they are late to classes, as well as looking at their merits.

When Covid-19 hit, we were in the middle of our school holidays and were quickly faced with the situation of converting our bricks and mortar school into an online school. This posed many challenges for all members of the community. Everest provided us with an effective means to communicate with students and parents, issue work, and continue our reporting and assessment cycle. Everest has an easy to use interface which means that students and parents can easily find the work that is required of them and receive direct communications from their teachers.
